This project was a complete bumper package, front and rear – 23 tools and 200 sets of parts each. We had a 10 week timeline to deliver all parts to the client for testing before full production tooling can be committed to.

After review, only some minor changes were recommended to Opel. The primary issue was that our tooling department was near capacity and therefore required flawless execution to hit the deadline.
To ensure that we could satisfy this client as well as other tooling jobs in the pipeline, we adjusted the shifts and scheduled a 24 hour manufacturing solution for this period. The result was as follow:

Rapid manufacturing requires rapid scheduling adjustments at times. With flexible and adaptable schedules and systems in place, we were able to complete the mould tools on week 8, all parts shipped on week 9 and delivered a week early.
